A system for individual local ventilation uses a rotating regenerator (heat exchanger) (1) for heat recovery from used air. The system works continuously and is fixed in an outer wall or ceiling. In addition to the normal fresh air flow (I) and used air flow (II), there is also provided a countercondesation air flow (III) which warms up the regenerator (1) to prevent condensing moisture blocking the regenerator (1). The system also allows for partial or complete backdraft operation by controlling the rate of rotation of regenerator (1). Two fan and three fan embodiments are provided. <IMAGE> |
