PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic improved in water clarification. SOLUTION: The ceramic 1 contains active soil for ion exchange as well as being porous with many pores 2. The active soil consists of silicon, alumina, allophane, fuming acid, fulvic acid, minerals and organic complex carbon. The active soil is desirably contained inside of the porous ceramics 1 as well as to be coated on the surface for increasing a contact area with water. Further the surface of the porous ceramic 1 is preferable to have rugged face for increasing the contact area with water. |
