PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a signal which is transmitted from a main control means to a picture variation control means. SOLUTION: This pinball game machine is equipped with the main control means 26, a picture variably displaying means 21, and the picture variation control means 36. In this case, the main control means 26 controls the game motion. The picture variably displaying means 21 variably displays one or a plurality of pictures. The picture variation control means 36 varies the picture of the picture variably displaying means 21 for a specified period of time by the signal from the main control means 26 on the condition that a picture starting means 14 detects a game ball, and stops the picture. The main control means 26 can transmit either one variation command signal among a plurality of kinds of variation command signals. The picture variation control means 36 has a picture variation pattern sequence storage function and a variation-control function for the picture variably displaying means 21. In this case, by the picture variation pattern sequence storage function, a plurality of kinds of picture variation pattern sequences, constituted by combining a plurality of kinds of variation patterns by a specified sequence in time series, are stored correspondingly with a plurality of kinds of variation command signals. By the variation control function, one picture variation pattern sequence corresponding with one variation command signal is selected by a random number processing in response to the variation command signal from the main control means 26, and the picture of the picture variably displaying means 21 is variation-controlled conforming to the picture variation pattern sequence. |
