PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the swell of a front end of a die case caused by the press-fitting of a die as necessary, and to prevent seizure of a die case to a fitting hole a caused by the heading heat in the die case of a heading machine with the die press-fitted to a tapered surface of the inner circumferential surface of the forward end. SOLUTION: In a structure in which the dies 22 and 23 are press-fitted to the tapered surface 21b provided on the inner circumference of the forward end of the cylindrical die case 21, the outside diameter of the front end 21a of the die case is set to be smaller than the reference outside diameter of a part behind the front end 21a by a predetermined quantity so that the outside diameter is not larger than the inside diameter of the fitting hole 12a even after the front end of the die case is swollen due to the press-fitting of the dies 22 and 23.
