PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insecticidal and acaricidal composition which can effectively exhibit the insecticidal and acaricidal activity of 2-methoxycarbonyl-4- chlorotrifluoromethanesulfonanilide. SOLUTION: This insecticidal and acaricidal composition contains 2- methoxycarbonyl-4-chlorotrifluoromethanesulfonanilide and N-methyl-2- pyrrolidone.
