<p>The invention relates to the metallurgy and concerns the method for manufacturing the cast iron by a process of reducing fusion in which process ferric oxides being reduced by means of coal and oxygen-containing gas. A process involves delivery of coal, ferric oxides and gas containing oxygen in the conditions of reducing smelting to the metallurgical tank being suitable for carrying out reducing fusion, and which is disposed in range of blast-furnace structure of blast-furnace plant and contains collecting bin for iron ore containing ferric oxides, collecting bin for coke, foundry with mechanisms for withdrawal of liquid cast iron and slag, system of hot gas outlet with facilities for dust removing, and system for supply of cooling water where metallurgical tank is connected at least by one of the following mechanisms: iron ore collecting bin, coke collecting bin being used as collecting bin for coal, foundry for discharge of metallurgical tank, system for withdrawal of gas being liberated in the process of reducing fusion, and system of supplying the cooling water being used as system of supplying water for cooling the metallurgical tank; and at least one of the following stages: delivery of oxides from the iron ore collecting bin to the metallurgical tank, delivery of coal from the coke collecting bin to the metallurgical tank, withdrawal of liquid cast iron and slag from metallurgical tank into the foundry, hot gas outlet from the metallurgical tank to the system of hot gas outlet and delivery of cooling water to the metallurgical tank from the system of delivery of cooling water. A process for the production of cast iron according to the invention provides lower capital outlays and lower cost of reprocessed cast iron than in the blast-furnace.</p> |
