PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly convenient merchandise information managing method by which a merchandise orderer can easily acquire merchandise component information, and to provide a management center. SOLUTION: This management center 5 receives merchandise information about merchandise from the order receiving terminal 1 of a merchandise selling source and registers the merchandise information in an MSDS database. The center 5 receives a merchandise order from the ordering terminal 3 of a merchandise buying source and relays information about an order exchanged between the terminal 1 of the merchandise selling source and the terminal 3 of the buying source. The center 5 also reads the merchandise information of the ordered merchandise from the MSDS database and supplies the merchandise information to the terminal 3 of the merchandise buying source.
