PURPOSE: A system and method for operating an interactive interface using an agent and a recording medium recording a program source for operating the interface are provided to allow a handicapped person or a user who is driving a car to easily use the interface. CONSTITUTION: A voice command inputted by a user is recognized and processed, and then the result signal is displayed on a display. An animation character that dynamically represents the voice command processing status and completion status is displayed on the display, or a synthesized sound corresponding to the statues is output through a speaker. While services corresponding to the processed result are provided, an animation character that dynamically represents the service provision status is displayed on the display or a synthesized sound according to the status is output through the speaker.
