PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote place facing communication equipment which provides natural interaction with feeling of attendance by permitting the eyes of users of a television conference unit or the like meet, and enabling a confirmation of the user's own expression to be transmitted to a third party side. SOLUTION: The remote place facing communication equipment is used for a communication system connected to another communication equipment to communication user's video between the respective equipments. The communication equipment comprises a photographing means having the equipment disposed in a user's sight line direction, a first display means for displaying an image received from another communication equipment, a second display means for displaying a video imaged by the photographing means, and a video transmitting means for distributing and transmitting the image photographed by the photographing means to the another communication equipment and the second display means. In this case, a half mirror is disposed on an optical axis of the photographing means, a mirror is provided at a position opposed to the mirror. Thus, a user's picture is photographed through the mirror, the picture displayed on the first means is reflected by the mirror and the mirror to be able to be visually observed by the user so that the eyes of the users meet and own expression can be confirmed. |
