PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generation system enabled to efficiently cool an inverter converting direct current output of the fuel cell into alternating current, and enabled to make the size of the inverter and the space for the installation of the inverter small. SOLUTION: The fuel cell power generation system has a fuel cell unit containing a fuel cell 1, a reforming device 2, and an inverter 3 in one housing 4. The input side of inverter 3 is connected to the output side of the fuel cell 1, and output side is connected to a load 6 through a power switchboard 5. A cooling device of the fuel cell comprises a hot water tank 8, a heat exchanger 9, a piping 10, and a pump 11. The piping 10 forms a closed loop, and guides a coolant with raised temperature by cooling the fuel cell 1 to the heat exchanger 9, and guides the coolant after heat exchange to the fuel cell 1 through the inverter 3. The heat exchanger 9 is installed inside the hot water tank 8 of which, lower part is connected to a water supply pipe 12a supplying tap water, and upper part is connected to the hot water supplying pipe 12b. |
