PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply beverages such as draft beer, while saving electric power of a beverage cooling device and preventing the beverage for sale from becoming excessively cold. SOLUTION: This beverage-cooling device, which is equipped with a refrigerator 8 containing a beverage container 1 and a cooling-water tank 9 for cooling a beverage cooling coil 3 of a beverage supply duct 2 led out of the beverage container and cools the beverage for sale, by placing the refrigerator and cooling water box in operation is equipped with a temperature sensor 13 which is arranged in the exit-side duct of the beverage container and detects the temperature of the beverage extracted from the beverage container and a control box 14, which controls the operation or the cooling water tank according to the detection signal of the temperature sensor; and the refrigerator and cooling water tank are placed both normally in operation; if the beverage temperature detected by the temperature sensor drops below set temperature, the operation of the cooling water tank is stopped, and only the refrigerator is set continuously in operation to sell beverage.
