ON-VEHICLE CONTROLLER AND INCOMING CALL LIMIT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle controller that can properly limit the arrival of calls to a mobile communication terminal such as a portable telephone. SOLUTION: A portable telephone controller 1 is respectively connected to a navigation unit 2 and a portable telephone 4 through a prescribed communication cable. The portable telephone controller 1 generates a command to request transmission of a drive state of a vehicle and transmits it to the navigation unit 2. The navigation unit 2 receiving it identifies a drive state of the vehicle such as a state of making a right (left)-hand turn in a crossing or a state of approaching a confluence point of a highway or the like from current position and road network information or the like and returns the information denoting the drive state to portable telephone controller 1. The portable telephone controller 1 generates a command to limit the arrival of calls and issues it to the portable telephone 4 when the portable telephone controller 1 discriminates the control of limiting incoming calls according to the acquired information denoting the drive state.
