<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MPEG video data processor which can generate a reproduced image that is easy clearly to be traced during high-speed reproduction. SOLUTION: MPEG video data are read at higher rate than its coding rate, and the size of motion vector per GOP is observed. When the quantity of motion is large or the quantity of occupation of decoder buffer on the MPEG decoder side is less than a specified value even when the quantity of movement is small, the GOP data is transmitted to the decoder buffer, and no GOP data is transmitted thereto in other cases.</p> |
