MAGNETIC DISK SUBSTRATE AND MAGNETIC DISK

摘要

A magnetic disk substrate formed from thermoplastic resin, and a magnetic disk comprising a magnetic recording layer formed on the magnetic disk substrate. The magnetic disk substrate can provides a magnetic disk that produces gas amounting up to 100 ñg/cm<2> when kept at 90 DEG for one hour, and delivers an excellent scanning performance with a significantly-restricted information recording/reproducing error when scanned with a floating head. A method of producing such a magnetic disk is also provided.
