PURPOSE: A method and a system for marking a keyword in information are provided to enable a user to reduce an information using time and effectively contact more information by receiving the necessary information being distinguished by a marking. CONSTITUTION: The user inputs and stored a specific word and texts in a PC(170) after downloading and installing a marking program(172) and driving the marking program. In this case, a display program(171) such as a browser and a mail client, and the marking program are installed in the PC. By driving the marking program in the user PC, the marking program plugs in the display program. The user request a service to a service server such as a web server and a mail server(180) by executing the browser or mail program and the requested service server provides the information to the request's client. The marking program searches for the stored keyword among the offered information and marks the searched keyword to be distinguished with other content.
