PURPOSE: A touch panel having a film capable of feeling pressure is provided to improve convenience in use and accuracy in operation. CONSTITUTION: A touch panel includes two substrates(11,12) facing each other, a double-sided insulated adhesive tape(14) to attach the two substrates(11,12), and a cable to connect an external circuit electrically. The first transparent conductive film(15) is applied on the lower surface of the upper substrate(11). The first electrode(16a) and the second electrode(16b) respectively are applied on both edges of the first transparent conductive film(15) so that an equipotential can be formed as voltage is supplied. On the upper surface of the upper substrate(11), films(11e,11f) are formed at locations corresponding to icons respectively. The second transparent conductive film(25) is applied on the lower surface of the lower substrate(12). The third electrode and the fourth electrode respectively are applied on both edges of the second transparent conductive film(25) so that an equipotential can be formed as voltage is supplied. Four electrode lead lines(20a-20d) to connect with the upper/lower electrodes(16a,16b) electrically are applied on the edges of the lower substrate(12). These electrode lead lines(20a-20d) are electrically connected with the external circuit through the cable. |
