PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information outlet that allows an operation of optically connecting a POF(plastic optical fiber) and an optical transceiver through the machining of a strip gauge mold and that facilitates its execution work and improves its reliability. SOLUTION: The information outlet 11 is equipped with an optical transceiver 6 and an optical connector 21 that optically connects this optical transceiver 6 to the POF, and these components 6, 21 are integrally fixed on the reverse side of a flat plate 15. The optical transceiver 6 is provided with a light emitting device 8 and a light receiving device 9. The optical connector 21 and the optical transceiver 6 are arranged in the manner that their boundaries are close to each other and optically connected with the connected state satisfying prescribed conditions. The optical connector 21 is composed of a positioning part 22 for positioning the tip end of the POF and a fixing part 23 for fixing the tip end of the POF in a state positioned with this positioning part 22.
