TARGET TRACKING CONTROL METHOD AND TRANSMITTER/RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and highly accurately track a moving body as a target even in the case that a transmitting/receiving frequency channel is changed. SOLUTION: A pseudo signal as a reception wave is added to each of a sum signalΣ(2) and a difference signalΔ(1) from a tracking antenna in a top amplifier 3, and the signal (1) and the signal (2) are transmitted to a transmitter/receiver main body 2 via a high-frequency cable 4. Every time the transmitting/receiving frequency channel is changed when the signal (1) is synchronously detected by the signal (2) to obtain a tracking error signal (3), the amount of attenuation and amount of phase-shifting of the signal (1) are sequentially and properly updated and set each by an attenuator 2-1 and a phase-shifter 2-3 under the control of a control CPU 2-12 so as to make the transfer functions of the signal (1) and the signal (2) equal to each other in the main body 2.
