PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the access to harmless data in a data access limiting device for temporarily judging whether data are harmful or not on the basis of a database for judgement on a WAN when accessing various data via the WAN. SOLUTION: A personal computer(PC) is connected via a router to the Internet and when a desired URL is designated from the PC, inside the router, it is judged whether that URL is stored as a harmful site on a flash memory(FM) or not (S220 and S230). When the URL is harmful, access is inhibited and when it is harmless, access is permitted (S240). When there is no URL on the FM, a harmful level is acquired from an external site for judgement (S270). When the URL is harmful, access is inhibited and that URL is stored on the FM. When the URL is harmless, access is permitted and that URL is stored on the FM. Thus, when the same URL is designated again, it is quickly judged whether the URL is harmful or not. |
