PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent response from being delayed even when status information is attached. SOLUTION: A communication module 4 performs only sequential data transfer processing to all I/O modules 6-1 to 6-n (steps S3 to S5). The status information has no problem even when response is sent to a controller 1 at the end of the data transfer since confirmation response is not necessary (step S6). The status information is only transmitted after the response is transmitted (steps S8 to S10).
