PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing apparatus for a doorway, which is simple in structure and excellent in sealing performance, and formed by laying two or more continuous cylindrical bodies on each other in a direction that narrows an opening of the doorway, to thereby cope with vehicles of different sizes. SOLUTION: The two or more continuous cylindrical bodies 2 are arranged at the doorway 1 of a building along both side portions and an upper portion of the doorway 1, and they are superposed on each other in layers in the direction that narrows the opening. These cylindrical bodies are fixed to the doorway 1 by expansion belts 3, and air is supplied thereinto, to thereby form the sealing apparatus for sealing a gap between the doorway 1 and a vehicle located at the doorway 1. According to the sealing apparatus, the continuous cylindrical bodies 2 are fixed to side portions of the doorway 1 so as to form support points 10 at which each cylindrical body extending from the upper portion is bent toward the side portion of the doorway 1, by binding members 5 for binding expansion of the cylindrical bodies 2, and each support point 10 is set at a location lower than a corner portion of the doorway 1. Then, a packing member 9 is packed in a space between each corner portion of the doorway 1 and the upper cylindrical body 2, and the upper and side cylindrical bodies interfere with each other, to thereby seal the corner portion of the opening.
