PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start washing at a stable temperature by eliminating the shortage of controlled variable to a heating means at the start of washing and restraining undershoot of flow temperature. SOLUTION: This sanitary washing apparatus is provided with a correcting means 114 for correcting a detected flow detected by a flow detecting means 108, whereby the correcting means 114 increases the detected flow when the flow suddenly increases at the start of washing, and according to the corrected flow, the controlled variable to the heating means 114 is determined to control the heating means 112. Accordingly, shortage of controlled variable of the heating means due to response delay of the flow detecting means 108 can be eliminated so as to improve flow temperature characteristic at the start of washing.
