PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling stock body inclination control device capable of conducting rolling stock body inclination control in consideration of changes in inertial force of a rolling stock body and changes in frictional resistance of a rolling stock body inclination mechanism, thereby improving riding comfortableness for a pendulum rolling stock. SOLUTION: In this rolling stock body inclination controlling device, the rolling stock body 1 is supported on a bogie 5 laterally inclinably, a traveling speed is detected and an amount to be inclined is calculated based on a stored curve information, and a cylinder 6 provided between the bogie 5 and the rolling stock body 1 is actuated to incline the rolling stock body 1. A displacement sensor 12 for detecting an expansion amount of the cylinder 6 is provided to calculate an actual rolling stock body inclination angle. A control signal for inclining the rolling stock body in accordance with the actual rolling stock body inclination angle is transmitted at starting of the rolling stock body inclination until the inclination angle reaches a predetermined angle wherein the rolling stock body is not influenced by the inertial force of the rolling stock body or the like. At stopping of the rolling stock body inclination, a control signal for stopping the rolling stock body inclination is transmitted after the actual rolling stock body inclination angle reaches the predetermined value.
