PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control system and an automobile incorporating the system to be embodied at a low cost by facilitating heat radiation of an actuator driver for suppression of the radiating component costs and establishing small-size construction of its central control device and enhancing the versatility. SOLUTION: The vehicle control system equipped with a central control device and a plurality of actuators includes an actuator driver provided on the actuator side for driving the actuators, and the actuator driver is arranged so that a self-diagnosing part, self-protecting part, and a communication control part are installed independently in dispersion in such a way as mating with the respective actuators.
