PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aqueous ink for an ink jet recording having a good ejecting property and a good production efficiency. SOLUTION: This method for producing the aqueous ink for the ink jet recording is characterized by having a dispersing process using a plurality of agitators in the same vessel in preparing a dispersion of a coloring agent and a dispersing agent in an aqueous liquid medium.
