A web page from a website (106) may contain content which is to be restricted to the user. This restriction is protected using predetermined markers. Dynamic encryption is used to restrict viewing of the protected content of a web-page, for this is protected content to be viewed, decryption is performed. Encryption and decryption may only be performed in the encryption and decryption module (120). This module (120) detects the predetermined markers to determine the location of the restricted content and addresses an appropriate encryption key from key store (122). The encryption key is used to encrypt the data between the predetermined markers. A decryption key is used to decrypt the encrypted data between the predetermined markers, once the web page has been received by an encryption and decryption module after being transmitted over the internet (100). |
