METHOD FOR PROVIDING ADVERTISEMENTS USING PORTABLE PHONES

PURPOSE: A method for providing advertisements using portable phones is provided to make an audio advertisement, a character advertisement or a picture advertisement outputted through a display part according to a state of a portable phone after an advertisement service provider stores specific advertisements in the portable phone through a wireless communication network. CONSTITUTION: In case that a client's portable phone(208) is in a receiving state, if a caller(206) dials the phone number of the client(208) to call the client(208) and pushes the SEND button, the dialed phone number is transmitted to an MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(204) through a base station or a repeater. If the call signal is inputted to a signal splitting part through the receiving part of the client's portable phone, a microprocessor detects it and outputs an audio advertisement, stored in a memory, to a speaker through the signal splitting part. By the audio advertisement of the speaker, the client(208) recognizes that his portable phone has been called. If the portable phone enters a call mode, the microprocessor interrupts the audio advertisement so as not to be outputted through the speaker.
