PURPOSE: A horizontal regulation controller of an image display device is provided to allow a user to select a horizontal regulation value of an image display device with reference to an OSD menu so as to watch a screen whose horizontal regulation is optimized. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal regulation controller of an image display device includes a high voltage generator(100), an OSD menu(300) displaying horizontal regulation values of the image display device on a screen in the form of OSD, and a microcomputer(200) for outputting a reference voltage corresponding to a horizontal regulation value selected by a user with reference to the OSD menu. The controller further has a comparator(400) for receiving the reference voltage and a voltage corresponding to current applied to the primary side of the high voltage generator, comparing the two voltages, and outputting a predetermined voltage according to the compared result, and a horizontal regulation control part(500) for receiving the voltage output from the comparator to control the horizontal regulation of the image display device.
