Packaging method for pressure-sensitive goods, e.g. books, glassware, etc. uses cardboard box and inflateable cushion to fill space between book and box

The goods are packed in pref. cardboard boxes. The box contains a cushion-like part to hold a book etc. The cushion is inflated via a non-return valve in an inflation socket to fill the space between box and book and hold the book in place. The box is closed before the cushion is inflated. The cushion may be fastened to a wall or the cover of the box.
