PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for information display which can display the operation state of a train to ride on and the practice/stoppage state of a sports event, etc., on a portable device at an arbitrary point, display the map and a route up to a reserved seat on the portable device so as to reach the reserved seat without getting lost, and display sitting on a wrong seat in such a case and the position of the correct seat and its route on the portable device. SOLUTION: An automatic reader reads the information of an electronic tag attached to a reserved seat ticket when a user sits on a seat and a display device displays the occupation state of the seat through a transmission line. The user inputs the ID number, date, etc., entered into the specified seat ticket and makes a request to display the operation state and then the operation state of the train that the user will rides on is displayed. Further, the map to the reserved seat and its route are displayed at a request. |
