To improve the characteristics of at least one fiber suspension, as the pulp for the production of a paper or cardboard or tissue web, the stock inlet has a turbulence generator so that the suspension flow is given at least one movement component across the machine line at the latest before it emerges from the stock inlet. This improves the web quality and increases the lateral strength. To improve the quality of a fiber web, the lateral suspension flow component is developed at the turbulence generator (5) and/or the stock inlet delivery jet.
