PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure strain accurately by easily adjusting sensitivity to the strain of an optical fiber conductor by improving the structure of a cable for sensing strain. SOLUTION: With the cable for sensing strain, the optical fiber core wire 20 is arranged in a slot 14 and is intermittently fixed at junction parts 12a, 12a, etc., at both sides in the direction of conductor length near a grating part 18.
