The invention relates to a cleaning and care composition for leather or artificial leather products, comprising 3...15% synthetic esteric wax, 0.5...5% sodium salts and/or potassium salts of saturated fatty acids, 0.1...10% alkamine salts of unsaturated fatty acids, up to 10% lubricating compounds of the vegetable and/or animal oil-type, up to 10% perfuming flavours and 65...90% water. The claimed composition has a high dirt removing power, regenerates the leather and, by glazing, provides a special appearance and a pleasant feel.
