PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver in which nothing is provided between a piezoelectric element and an element in order to drive the element. SOLUTION: This driver comprises a piezoelectric element 20 of which ends 24a (not illustrated), 24b, 24c are fixed to a stationary member 10, an element 30 to be driven engaged frictionally with the other ends 26a, 26b, 26c of the piezoelectric element 20, and piezoelectric element drive means 28, 29 which supply voltages to generate differences of elongation rate and compression rate between one ends 24a (not illustrated), 24b, 24c and the other ends 26a, 26b, 26c. |
