PURPOSE: A normal close valve of an anti-lock system is provided to reduce the weight and size of an anti-lock brake system and a valve by fitting an orifice to the center of a core and excluding a valve housing. CONSTITUTION: A normal close valve(60) includes a valve device in a solenoid. A solenoid coil(62) is wound on a cylindrical yoke(61). A plunger(65) is combined to an armature(64). An oil path is formed in an outer end portion of a seat housing(72). An orifice(66) opened and closed by the plunger is prepared in the oil path. An O-ring(67) for preventing the leakage of oil is installed outside the oil path.
