An electric connecting terminal 21 is connected to a flat circuit body 1 by pushing a pair of piecing portions 25, 26 through the body and then folding the tips towards each other. The tips have taper surfaces 25b, 26b on the internal side to give a better contact. The piercing portions may be of constant width at the bottom, see Fig 9.
