PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer in which the fact of 'under printing' can be notified surely to a user and printing can be performed surely. SOLUTION: The printer performing printing based on print control information, e.g. the number of print sheets, written in correspondence to image information picked up by means of an electronic imaging device and stored comprises a mode switch 24a for reading print control information written in correspondence to the image information, various operating switches outputting specified operational instructions to the printer, a liquid crystal display element 12a displaying at least the print control information, and a CPU 31 for controlling the operation such that operational instructions outputted from the various operating switches are rejected when a print control mode is set and print operation is started and a display concerning to the rejected operational instructions is erased from the liquid crystal display element 12a. |
