PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact printing apparatus in which a plurality of development devices are arranged for one image carrier. SOLUTION: Image forming units 50 and 60 having the image carriers 51 and 61 and transfer bodies 54 and 64 which are arranged to face the image carriers 51 and 61 and to which images on the carriers 51 and 61 are transferred and press means 40 and 42 arranged to face the transfer bodies 54 and 64 are provided. Each of the image forming unit 50 and 60 has a plurality of ink supply means (53, 56, 63, and 66) for supplying ink to the carriers 51 and 61 provided in the units 50 and 60, and ink supply means 53, 56, 63, and 66 supply inks of different colors to the carriers 51 and 61, respectively. |
