PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise durability and reliability by simplifying a connection structure and assuring a connection strength while avoiding disconnection, poor contact, degrading in output characteristics, and unstability, and to stably hold a piezoelectric element at a fixed position for an extended period even if it accompanies mechanical vibration. SOLUTION: There are provided a piezoelectric element 2 of a prescribed thickness; a housing 4 which houses the piezoelectric element 2 and comprises side plate parts 5a, 5b, 5c, and 5d facing side surfaces 3a, 3b, 3c, and 3d of the piezoelectric element 2; and electrode leads 6a, 6b, 6c, and 6d which are fitted to the side plates 5a, etc., of the housing 4 for connection to the side surfaces 3a, etc., of the piezoelectric element 2, and are arranged symmetric about a straight line L halving the piezoelectric element 2 in plan view.
