<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downlink frame processing system that conducts frame processing for transmission in a satellite downlink. SOLUTION: The processing system 200 includes a packet switch 608 that routes self-address designation uplink data 706 from an input port to an output port, a memory 804 that is coupled with an output port, and a downlink scheduler 802 coupled with the memory 804. The memory includes a storage device with respect to at least two downlink beam hop positions 302, 304. The scheduler 802 processes at least either of a payload and a frame type 1404 with respect to a payload and a frame 1200 to be transmitted and processes at least one scheduling item 1312 including a header field 1316 defining payload data pointers 1502, 1504 and 1506 to the memory.</p> |
