PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for displaying electronic mail and an electronic mail display program which can automatically receive and dynamically display a mail magazine and mail (ordinary electronic mail) when a screen saver is actuated without starting an electronic mail program. SOLUTION: While a terminal such as a personal computer is not operated, arrival mail magazines 1, 2, and 3 are received and edited and headers 1-1, 2-1, and 3-1, and body texts 1-2, 2-2, and 3-2 are scrolled and displayed on a screen 35' according to setting. Consequently, the screen saver runs and the mail magazines can be browsed to save the work to read the mail magazines by starting the electronic mail program.
