PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to achieve an improved use convenience and reduce installation space, while allowing each function of the refrigerator to be easily performed. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator has an interior which is divided into storage containers(A,B,D) by partitions(11), wherein each of storage containers is arranged to be extended/retracted from/into each receiving chamber(20). A refrigerating machine unit(100) is connected to each storage container through a flexible cooling pipe(30). Freezing storage compartments(C1,C2) and refrigerating storage compartment(E) are arranged in sequence from the top of the refrigerator. The flexible cooling pipe which is led out from the refrigerating machine unit is connected to each receiving chamber. The storage container(D) arranged in the lower portion of the refrigerator is used as a warming cabinet to be heated by the waste heat generated from the refrigerating machine unit.
