摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection device for a three-phase type phase signal generator hardly receiving an adverse effect of intruding noise on a measurement system and capable of surely detecting the abnormality such as disconnection and a short circuit of a wiring system. SOLUTION: A phase signal S is three-bit information comprising bits u, v and w, and a subroutine YY realizing a temporality determination part is composed of a substandard value (S=0, 7) detection means, determination suspension means y10-y20, a temporality determination means y20, suspension continuation means y45-y75, normal state restoration means y65-y85, intermittent abnormality number accumulation means (variable K) and continuous abnormality number accumulation means (variable J). In y50 and below, abnormal processing is respectively carried out when the substandard values are detected (a) times continuously during a suspension continuation period or (b) times during the suspension continuation period. The suspension of the temporality determination is continued since the abnormality (S=0, 7) is detected until all the inverting events of the respective bits of a value Y10 within the standard thereafter detected for the first time are detected, and the measurement system is restored to its normal state by those operations when the abnormality is recoverable.
