摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation suppressing method of railway rolling stock capable of reducing influence of vortex occurring around a car body that causes oscillation of the railway rolling stock, and the railway rolling stock. SOLUTION: The car body 1 is a framed structure made of steel or an aluminum alloy. Fins 10 are disposed at the lower ends of the side surfaces of the car body 1. The fins 10 are mounted so as to extend in the longitudinal direction of the car body 1. Distance r between the tip (lower edge) of each fin 10 and a track is, for example, about 85 mm. The fins 10 can separate an air layer between the bottom surface of the car body 1 and the track surface from an air layer between the side surface of the car body 1 and the side surface of a tunnel.
