PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary die capable of uniformizing the machining quality of a work in the whole area of a cutting tooth form. SOLUTION: The cutting tooth form 26 projecting from the outer circumferential face of an approximately columnar die to the diametrically outer circumferential side relative to the axis are formed in the outer circumferential face of the die. In respective parts in the circumferential direction of the die, the contact area (the area of the tip face) of projections 27 with the work is miniaturized in a part where a range formed with the cutting tooth form 26 is large, while the contact area of the projections 27 with the work is enlarged in a part where the range formed with the cutting tooth form 26 is small so that the contact area of the cutting tooth form with the work is made to almost equal in the respective parts in the circumferential direction of the die.
