PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time series data compressor, capable of compressing time series data, while keeping a periodicity or fluctuation pattern to remain in the fluctuation of the time series data. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pre-processing part 11 for calculating a maximum value, a minimum value and the mean value from N pieces of target data (N is an integer), while referring to N pieces of the last target data in the past including relevant target data for each of target data; a first selecting processing part 13 for performing selecting processing of the maximum value for storing the maximum value for each of target data, when the relevant target data are smaller than the mean value or for abandoning the relevant target data, when the relevant target data are larger than the mean value; and a second selecting processing part 14 for performing selecting processing of the minimum value for storing the minimum value for each of target data, when the relevant target data are larger than the mean value or for abandoning the relevant target data, when the relevant target data are smaller than the means value, and selecting processing of the maximum value and the minimum value is conducted alternately. |
