PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature measuring gauge and its correcting method as a completed body capable of inputting a correction value without using contact-type terminals. SOLUTION: The temperature measuring gauge 1 is provided with an infrared detecting element 21 to detect temperate by receiving infrared rays radiated from an object to be measured S, and the temperature of the object to be measured S is determined on the basis of an output value from the infrared detecting element 21 and a correction value inputted from outside. The temperature measuring gauge 1 is provided with a mode switching means to switch between a temperature measuring mode for measuring temperature and a correction mode for inputting a correction value, a light receiving means to receive infrared output corresponding to the correction value in the correction mode by the infrared detecting element 21, a storage means to store the correction value received by the light receiving means 2, and a correcting means to correct the output value from the infrared detecting element 21 by the correction value in the temperature measuring mode.
