PURPOSE:To remove curls, etc. of a recording paper as well as to prevent the occurrence of jamming while feeding in the pathway of the recording paper by forming an aperture having a diameter smaller than the thickness of the recording paper and also providing an elastic feeding guide in the pathway. CONSTITUTION:A recording paper 2 supplied from a cassette and sent to a recording head 23 through feeding rollers 7A and 7B is deprived of its curls, etc., by squeezing when passing through an aperture of a diameter (d) smaller than the thickness (t) of the paper 2 between elastic feeding guides 24 and 25 and an attracting plate 10. Then, the recording paper 2 is attracted on the atracting plate 10 by blowing air from an air blow fan 21 to keep it flat and then recorded by the recording head 23 (or 22). In this case, since the maximum width of the opening 28 of the attracting plate 20 is smaller than the width of the recording paper 2, the tip portion of the recording paper 2 does not enter the opening 28. The recorded paper 2 is discharged through the pathway 26A by discharge and feeding rollers 9A, 9B, 10A, and 10B. |
