PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send information on movie theaters near the address of a user with only simple operations, using a facsimile terminal. SOLUTION: A center acquires a telephone number of a caller using a caller telephone number informing service, has a database, retrieves a postal number code from the telephone number, retrieves nearest movie theater information from the postal number code, and transmits the information to a facsimile terminal.
