PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a household electric appliance in which information such as warnings is surely recognized by a purchaser before the user starts to use the appliance by effectively using a large display section and an audio device provided for the appliance. SOLUTION: The household electric appliance is provide with a display device, a storage device having a waning item database, a controller and a control section that has a power supply switch and an understanding switch. Moreover, the appliance is provided with a initial setting means which includes an initial display section and an initial setting section. In the initial display section, the warning item database is constituted of plural itemized data and the data are successively displayed on the display section by the operation of the understating switch after pressing the power supply switch. The initial setting section stops the display of the warning items after the power supply switch is operated in accordance with the operation of the understanding switch corresponding to the last display of the itemized data. |
